John Burton "Jack" Davis Passes Away!
The Animation Hall Of Fame family is sad to acknowledge the passing of the renowned artist John Burton "Jack" Davis Jr on July 27th, 2016. Most of you may know him as Jack Davis from his work as one of the founding members of Mad Magazine. He got his start at E. C. Comics, and his comic credits include Tales From the Crypt and Mark Trail. His illustrations could be found on the covers of TV Guide, Time magazine, records and film posters. In addition to product design for games, sports illustrations, and bold caricatures, Jack also contributed to the world of animation. He worked with Rankin Bass and his character designs were used for the King Kong show, Coneheads, and the Jackson 5. He worked with Phil Kimmelman on various commercials, which we are proud to have examples of in the Animation Hall Of Fame archives. We express our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

The Animation Hall of Fame is actively seeking full and part time volunteers!!!
Myself and my fellow board members of the Animation Hall of Fame are looking for enthusiastic and fun loving individuals who would like to help and contribute to the numerous projects and positions that we current have available here at AHOF. These projects and positions include social networking, graphic designing, film restoration, cataloging and archiving, touring exhibition artwork researching, general office duties, etc.. We always have something fun and rewarding for everyone to be involved with. The Animation Hall of Fame is located in the Orlando, Florida area, but you don’t have to live in the Orlando area to volunteer. Now that we live in the wonderful world of instantaneous digital communication, you can be anywhere internationally and still help. If you are interested or need more information please feel free to email us at info.ahof@gmail.com or contact us through the Contact Page on the AHOF Home Page. We would be honored to have you be a part of AHOF and help in "Honoring and Preserving the Past, Encouraging the Present, and Shaping the Future".

My very best regards always,

Hal Miles
Chairman and Co-founder
Animation Hall of Fame, Inc.
